Oh, Kathy, maybe I should have directed you here, instead - there is an ad on some of these pages that says:

Hi, Kathy: Welcome! I'm very curious to know what rescue group would have adopted out an unaltered dog - that's a pretty big no-no. Why did the rescue group not pay for it? It's great that you want to get him neutered, though - it's one of the best things you can do in a lot of ways, including not giving them that reason to let their hormones override their common sense. Animal Ark has a program called Pet Fix. I think that they have a limited number of certificates they can give out for free spays & neuters, and then they also have ones that you can use to get a discounted rate at particular vets around the Twin Cities. Phone Animal Ark & they can help you find what you need! Good luck, Kathy!

I am new to this sight. I adopted a rescue pit bull his name is Frazier and he is 5months old. Beautiful little guy and best personality ever. I'm wondering about getting help with neutering costs. I can afford all of Fraziers other needs like shots and food etc. But I am a student and don't have the extra money to get him neutered.

URGENT!!! Sweet Tempered Dog Needs Home!

We're in need of someone who will take in Sugar, a very sweet tempered female Pit bull located in the Los Angeles area. Whether you or someone you know can act as a foster parent (temporary) or an actual parent (permanently), please help this animal in need. She only has until August 20th before her foster mom moves out of state. Her situation is CRITICAL! as we only have two more days before they have to give her to a shelter which may euthanize her! Also, the people caring for Sugar have said they are willing to drive to the ends of the earth to take her to a new, safe home. So don't let distance be a deterrent.

Below are Sugar's webpage and slide-show where you can learn more about her:

Contact either me, Paola, at pidgy.widge@gmail.com or kim@barkphotography.com

Even if you mention Sugar in your status lines (myspace, faebook, twitter, etc.) along with my or Kim's email, you'll be getting the word out and increase the chances of helping Sugar avoid going to a shelter where she might be put down. Please don't let this happen. Every little bit helps! Even if you live far away, chances are someone in your networks live in or near the Los Angeles area.

Thank you so much!

Sincerely,

Paola Lopez
