The Fall Season, and Holiday Trips

The trip to Iowa I mentioned in my last blog went great! Duncan and Chica did very well during the entire 6 hour car ride. We're starting to be convinced they could ride anywhere in the country with us, wih enough potty breaks of course. We all stayed at my grandparents house. Chica just kind of went around sitting on everyones feet and getting her head scratched. Duncan pretty much did the same thing-- and they both charmed my granndparents, which is great because that means we can bring them o… Continue

Willow Flowage Camping

It took a 30-45 minute boat ride to get us all to our, very secluded, camp site. Duncan has been on boats before (both a canoe and speed boat), but this was a first for Chica. She attacked the waves, ran around the boat, and just about fell over the side! It took some effort, but we reigned her in. Dunc, however, took a seat and stuck his nose into the wind. He is very good at riding on boats-- we're hoping he's teaching his sister how to ride on boats too!

Thanks for a GREAT visit!

We had a wonderful visit at Animal Ark this weekend. Thank you to everyone that stopped in to visit and for letting us all take over one of the socialization rooms for a while. The remodel is absolutly BEAUTIFUL!

There is no question that Duncan remembered everyone that came to visit. He was so funny, wagging his tail wildly, and running around to everyone for a little attention. It is obvious that he has loving memories of being with all of the staff at Animal Ark!!

THIS SATURDAY AUGUST 15 DUNCAN AT ANIMAL ARK! 1PM

This Saturday Aug.15 Damon and I are going to bring Duncan, and his sister Chica, to Animal Ark to visit!! Please come see how he is doing and meet his sister (and best friend!) Chica. We will be arriving at the Ark around 1 PM. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!

Summer Updates

Summer has been flying by this year!!

In June we all went camping in Red Wing, MN-- very spur-of-the-moment trip. It was chicas first time! Of course we with went with Tucker and Gunner, their best playmates. It was a great trip and Chica had a blast. Duncan was the campsite guardian, like he is for all trips, and Chica joined him most of the time. On our trip to Michigan they had to stay at Grandpa Reds house, because we had so much running around to do when we got there. They were so good and… Continue
