Animal Ark & Animal Wise Radio Proud to Have Received 2009 Henry Bergh Award

Animal Ark and Animal Wise Radio are humbled to be named recipient of the 2009 Henry Bergh awards and included in a list of some of the top animal welfare advocates in the nation. The awards were announced today on Animal Wise Radio, which is produced by Animal Ark, in a special 2-hour program that included interviews with each of the other award recipients.

Henry Bergh was the founder of the animal welfare movement in the United States. He was unwavering in his commitment to making the world a better place for animals.

The Henry Bergh Awards were awarded by the No Kill Advocacy Center, the worlds leading authority on humane sheltering practices.

What makes me a little sad is that we have equally amazing folks behind the scene that listeners never get to meet. Kevin is the best board op ever! Matt at Wallace Radio Syndication is one of those rare people that has a ton of talent AND is a wonderful person, too. You are indeed among great company but you definitely deserve this award. I only started listening to Animal Wise Radio a couple of weeks ago and I'm hooked. I'll be here every week.
